This is the proposal form I have filled out for the Copeland Gallery exhibition in June 2021. I did not want to limit myself, as my work is intuitive and I did not want to be constricted by what I had written in the form. I want to form a dialogue with the viewer's body through constructing various printed shapes on the wall, and not necessarily displaying these in a conventional manner to clearly establish my line of enquiry with the viewer.
My proposal for the unit 3 exhibition and the research I will undertake will be centred around the individuality in my practice, but also the experience of the viewer with my work. My influences and context for my research will remain largely similar. However, I am interested in researching and finding more out about Medieval illuminated herbal and botanical manuscripts from different cultures.
